National Gas and Gas Networks Ireland have signed a long-term agreement to fast-track clean energy collaboration, focusing on hydrogen, biomethane, and their integration into existing gas infrastructure. The partnership includes early-stage plans for a new or repurposed hydrogen interconnector between the two countries—signalling a major step toward cross-border energy security and decarbonisation.
