Belfast-based greentech firm LumenStream has secured £1.2 million in new investment to scale its innovative “Lighting as a Service” model. The round was led by a local angel syndicate, with strong backing from Clarendon Fund Managers’ Co Fund III and early-stage investor Techstart Ventures.

LumenStream’s zero-capex “Pay as you Save” solution helps large energy users cut emissions and reduce costs from day one. With clients like Siemens, Wickes and Ryobi already on board, the funding will fuel team expansion and wider rollout.

CEO Alistair Brown said the raise will “accelerate our mission to make energy efficiency the first fuel for business.”
