UK-based fuel infrastructure and environmental services provider LCM Environmental Group has completed three acquisitions, including Irish firm Petro Systems Management Ltd, extending its operational reach and technical capability across the UK and Ireland, as reported by Fuel Oil News.

Fuel Oil News reported that the group acquired Octane Holding Group Ltd and Octane Draincare Ltd, Environmental Construction Services Ltd (ECS), and Petro Systems Management Ltd as part of a wider growth strategy aimed at increasing technical expertise, regional coverage and operational capability across the site infrastructure lifecycle.

LCM Environmental Group supports operators of critical and regulated sites, providing services including fuel infrastructure installation and maintenance, tank management, drainage, environmental controls, construction works, testing and compliance support.

The acquisition of Octane Holding Group and Octane Draincare adds further expertise in drainage and environmental services, along with established customer relationships. ECS strengthens the group's construction capability, formalising a longstanding working relationship between the two businesses.

The acquisition of Petro Systems Management, based in Ireland, expands LCM's presence on the island, adding local fuel infrastructure expertise and supporting the group's ability to serve customers across the region.

Richard Wallace, CEO of LCM Environmental Group, said: "Each business brings its own strengths, but they share a common focus on strong customer relationships, experienced teams and high-quality service delivery. These acquisitions increase our capability across drainage, construction, environmental services and specialist infrastructure support."

Wallace added that the group's focus would now be on supporting the acquired teams, maintaining the qualities that made each business successful, and creating new opportunities for both people and clients.

Donal O'Leary, managing director of Petro Systems, said: "We're proud to see Petro Systems become part of LCM Environmental. It's exciting to join a company with a strong reputation, shared values and a commitment to excellence. We look forward to the opportunities ahead."

Liam Foster, managing director of ECS, described the deal as an exciting new chapter, expressing confidence that the combined business would continue to strengthen its capabilities and deliver results for clients and partners.
