Waterford-based commercial and industrial renewable energy company Greenvolt Next has announced plans to create 90 new jobs across Ireland and the UK over the next 12 months, with 50 roles to be based at its Waterford headquarters and 40 in the UK. The positions will focus on experienced professionals including project engineers, senior project engineers, project managers, and site managers, as the company scales its delivery capacity to meet growing demand from businesses and developers.
Think Business reported that the hiring drive forms part of a broader investment strategy that includes the physical expansion of Greenvolt Next's Waterford headquarters by over 2,100 square feet, fitted with updated technologies to support the next phase of growth.
Owen Power, chief executive officer of Greenvolt Next Ireland and the UK, said the company's success to date has been driven by its ability to deliver reliable and cost-effective energy solutions underpinned by unmatched resources and expertise. He said investing in operations, growing the team, and innovating for customers will allow the company to make renewable energy easy for more organisations across Ireland and the UK, enabling them to be more sustainable and more successful.
Greenvolt Next reported that its projects helped customers reduce carbon emissions by 30,000 tonnes in 2025, with a further 150,000 tonnes of CO2 forecast to be avoided over the next three years as adoption of renewable technologies accelerates. The company is projecting significant revenue growth over that period, supported by sustained demand for solar energy systems and battery storage solutions.
