Flogas, owned by DCC, has partnered with Ørsted Onshore Ireland to allow businesses to source renewable electricity directly from the Knockawarriga wind farm in Co Limerick. The agreement builds on Flogas’s multi-buyer Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) model, giving medium and large companies a pathway to secure clean energy while enhancing cost predictability.
With demand for renewable CPPAs rising sharply, the model is becoming a critical tool for firms balancing carbon reduction commitments with volatile energy markets.
