Belfast renewable energy and asset management company Everun has been awarded a share of a £102.9 million (approximately €119 million) operations and maintenance contract from ScottishPower Renewables, covering 24 onshore wind farm projects across the UK over five years, as reported by The Irish News.

ScottishPower Renewables awarded the contracts to four companies, three of which, including Everun, are extending existing relationships with the energy company. The fourth, Gael Energy Ltd, brings prior experience working on and operating wind farms.

Everun has been providing operations and maintenance services to ScottishPower Renewables on its Northern Ireland and Ireland-based assets for the past five years. Having secured major works contracts at a number of SPR sites in Scotland in 2024, the company has continued to invest in its Scottish presence, establishing facilities in Glasgow and building a dedicated team.

The new contract sees Everun add three Scottish sites to its portfolio, covering 97 wind turbine generators and supporting 15 staff directly in its Scotland operations, in addition to the five SPR Northern Ireland and Ireland sites already under management.
