This award is open to organisations, developers, operators, or project teams across the island of Ireland that have delivered outstanding solar energy projects or programmes. The judges will want to see how solar energy has been strategically deployed to deliver measurable energy, carbon, and cost benefits. You must explain what has been achieved so far and your plans for future development, supported by performance data and a clear delivery strategy.

  • Organisation/Project Background: Describe the organisation or project, including scale, location, capacity installed, and annual energy generation.
  • Strategy Background: Explain the rationale for adopting solar, how the project aligns with broader energy or sustainability goals, and the targets set.
  • Implementation: Provide details on project delivery, including technology choice, grid integration, storage, innovation, and any challenges overcome.
  • Organisation Commitment: Describe leadership support, stakeholder engagement, and internal or community involvement in the project.
  • Outcomes & Results: Quantify energy generated, carbon savings, financial benefits, and operational performance, with comparisons where available.
  • Supporting Facts & Statements: Include any additional information that demonstrates excellence, scalability, or replicability.
